The assembly process of aluminum die-casting products is usually a subsequent process after die-casting manufacturing is completed. The assembly steps are described as follows:
Pre-treatment of die-casting products
Deburring and trimming
Remove the flash, burrs, and gates on the surface of die-casting products.
Use a deburring machine, hand tools, or polishing to trim the appearance.
Check the size and appearance
Check whether the dimensional accuracy meets the standard.
Check for defects such as pores, cracks, and deformation.
Surface treatment
Sandblasting, anodizing, spraying, powder coating, etc. are performed as required.
Improve the appearance quality and corrosion resistance.
Parts preparation
Other accessories processing
If the finished product needs to be combined with other parts such as plastics, rubber, screws, circuit boards, etc., it needs to be processed and prepared in advance.
Prepare screws/nuts/washers, etc.
Prepare all the required hardware, wires, seals and other assembly materials.
Assembly work
Mechanical or manual assembly
Use screws, rivets, tenons, glue, welding and other methods to combine die castings and other parts.
Arrange the assembly sequence according to the design drawings.
Precision alignment and locking
Use jigs to assist alignment to ensure assembly accuracy.
Control the torque when locking the screws to avoid over-tightening or over-loosening.
Post-assembly testing and inspection
Functional testing
Test mechanical, electronic or airtight performance to confirm normal function.
If there are electrical components, power-on testing is required.
Appearance and structural inspection
Ensure that there are no scratches, stains, or defects on the surface.
The structure is firm and not loose.
Packaging
Cleaning and protection
Clean the surface oil and apply dust bags and anti-collision foam when necessary.
Packaging and labeling
Classify and package according to item specifications, and mark the product name, batch number and quantity.
Shipment
Store or ship to customers, subsequent assembly lines or final assembly lines.
